Declare skincare routine

Collaborating with Roseberry on their Christmas Catalogue has been such a pleasure!! Roseberry's Christmas Catalogue is delivered to all households all over Malta  every year, and this year it also contains a contribution from my end about my Declare skincare routine.  For those who have still not received the catalogue, I'm including my Declare article in collaboration with Roseberry here. (The Christmas catologue includes a number of surprises so do have a good look at it!!) ENJOY!

The day I hit 30 is probably when I decided I should seriously invest in an effective skincare routine.  I’ve always known that skincare is essential but I guess I stubbornly tried to ignore that as the years rolled by. In a blur of some career moves and an infinite number of friends’ weddings and baby showers, I had hit the big 30! And my face kind of wanted to clearly point it out to me by suddenly becoming quite a bit drier and much more sensitive.

Roundabout that time, my beauty therapist at Roseberry had suggested to give their Skin Analysis Test a try. Apparently, this test helps determine one’s skin type and condition, as well as the best course of treatment. In my case, it turned out that my sensitive (sometimes dry) skin could do with some tender, love and care to protect and restore its balance. I was recommended Declaré Pro Youthing range, specifically aimed at preserving the youthfulness of the skin and one’s natural skin functions.

My skin care routine since then? After cleansing, I apply the Youth Supreme Concentrate Serum which is very concentrated so a little of that goes a long way. I then apply the Youth Supreme Cream onto my face and neck to keep my face hydrated and looking radiant throughout the day. My skin feels wonderfully soft and smooth right after that, which makes me super happy! As for the evening, I’ve recently included the Detox Night Cream in my nighttime routine. This luxurious cream contains magnolia extracts, is fragrance-free and not too thick, so it doesn’t clog my skin pores and allows my skin to breathe during the night.

I’ve saved the best for the last! Declaré Youth Supreme Eye Cream is, indeed, a winner when it comes to eye creams. It wakes up my tired eyes on sleepy mornings and works wonders on dark under eye circles. When applied, the cream melts right into the skin and feels so fresh that I’d like to imagine it working away at those (pesky) fine lines.

Am I happy with my skin care routine? “Oh yes!’’

Each time I feature my favourite granola bar in photos, or mention how I’d be looking forward to my long walk in the evening, I’m always impressed by how many of you are into healthy eating and lifestyles.  This is one of the reasons (other reason here; need to try and become a better, mindful eater) why I felt I needed to introduce you
