In my case, having normal to dry skin means that powder is not something I particularly reach out for. Yet, after getting curious and trying out Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder I can safely say I'm impressed how incredibly light this powder feels on my skin; it really feels as if you're not wearing anything over your foundation and/or alongside your blusher.
The Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder is a matifying powder, mainly used after foundation and concealer to get rid of shiny or oily patches on the skin. The powder comes in 6 shades (Transparent, Pink Blossom, Warm Beige, Sandstorm, Silky Beige and Peach Glow). Rimmel claims it contains natural minerals that help control shine for up to 5 hours as well as help minimise the appearance of pores.
In my case, when applying the powder I have to admit that I'm not that genereous in the very dry/flaky patches and only use the product very lightly on such areas. In additon, I find that it's best to use a brush to apply the powder as with a puff or sponge the end result appears to be slightly more powdery. As for coverage, I'd settle for saying that this product gives light to medium coverage, but that's more than fine with me.
One final plus point I don't want to go forgetting? When applied, Rimmel's Stay Matte pressed powder has a natural finish to it, yet it manages to brighten the face. Will I continue on using this product? YES, definitely yes!
