Go Rita, Go Rita, Go Rita was what I was murmuring to myself as we sat down for the much-awaited show to begin.
I've been a loyal fan of Ritienne Zammit's creations ever since I first learnt about her 2 years ago during Fashion Week. In each collection, Ritienne is not afraid to take a stand and does whatever it takes to get her message across. This year was no different as she presented her Je Suis Autumn/Winter 2016 Collection. Je Suis AW 16 aims to shed a different light on those with addictions or obsessions and to fight the prejudices usually associated with them.
I will be writing a separate post dedicated solely to the message behind Je Suis and the pieces we saw tonight (there's one dress, a shirt and two bags which I NEED!) For now feast your eyes on the creations we saw tonight. Brava Ritienne!
