Life is beautiful, but food and beer make it even more worthwhile!
I've been a loyal custromer of Beer Kitchen since the day it opened at Level 0, SkyParks Business Centre, Luqa. You can imagine my delight when I got to know that the restaurant was coming up with even more dishes on the menu!
We booked our table for the next Sunday and lunch time just couldn't come any sooner! Upon arrival, we were immediately greeted by one of the restaurant's staff who walked us to our table, gave us the menus (YESSSS, I was so curious to learn more about the new dishes!) and then treated us to a welcome drink. By then, I was already examining the new menu, trying to make up my mind about the starters to order and finding it super hard to leave out any of the items!! After some very difficult decisions (I wanted it all), we decided it was going to be Kuwala Fish Cakes, Pulled Pork Tacos and Deep fried school Prawns for starters!
I ordered a gin 'n' tonic, whilst hubby opted for a craft beer (there's a vast selection available, and you could always ask the staff for advice if you're not sure about which beer to go for!). The menu also suggests what beer you can pair each dish with.
Soon enough our starters arrived and somehow, I just knew I had made the right choice (next time round, I also want to try the Falafel and the Grilled smoked Scamorza!!) I'm sure you already know where this is going - food was simply exquisite!! Which meant we felt even more confident when we ordered the Tender-cooked Beef Shoulder and the Slow-Smoked Juicy Charcoal Grilled Pork Ribs (for yours truly) as our mains!
And if the names of the dishes are not tempting enough, I do invite you to have a look at the below. TRULY scrumptious!!
You must be curious about the desserts we treated ourselves to that fine day? (Oh yes, there's always space for the dessert!) A Tahini & Chocolate Brownie and the most yummy of tiramisus!
We loved it and only left after we've made another booking for dinner in two weeks time. Oh, yes!
