I'm not usually one who loses her head over red pieces; in my head anything which is too red transmits tension whereas whatever is not red enough doesn't deserve to be "called" red! So I'm not usually one to fall in love with red items, except during Christmas of course.
This Christmas was no exception. I got me a red dress to wear on Christmas eve, red studs to go with the black ensemble I chose for Boxing Day and a red scarf which I've been wearing practically every day these last two weeks and which looks snazzy especially when teamed up with my new navy & white sweater with a tribal print and an old pair of denims.
This crazy-for-red phase called for a red nail varnish (that's got to be a favourite shade amongst many, but one which I still didn't own). My friend must have known what I was lusting after when she got me this Dior nail varnish in shade Royale. Not only does it come in the perfect shade of red, it is also super long-lasting; no chips since I applied it 5 days ago and you all know what a bad relationship I have with my nail polishes!
With my red outfits, I was going for more subtle and natural make up, meaning that this NYX eyeshadow palette in Catwalk - 04 (I also got as a Christmas present from another dear friend :) ). This 10 colour shadow collection contains a mix of matt and shimmery shadows and is the perfect palette for both day and night make-up.
Since we're speaking about products we've been loving this Christmas, I can't but mention 2 final products. My Sleek blusher palette in Pink Lemonade (369) contains 3 very workable shades; 2 powders and 1 cream blusher. And finally, my go-to perfume; Versace Bright Crystal.
And your go-to products this past month?! Tell me all about it; I want to know!! :D
