Monday 24th November wasn't just another Monday. At 11 in the morning, the Malta Chamber of Commerce was bubbling with a number of guests enthusiastically waiting for the launch of the Chamber of Fashion and Fashion Association. A number of fashion designers, fashion event organisers, professional make up artists and hairdressers, photographers and bloggers witnessed the launch of these two great milestones, inaugurated by the Minister for Justice, Culture and Local Government, Dr Owen Bonnici. Mr David G Curmi, President of the Chamber of Commerce said that the Chamber is committed to stimulate cultural and creative industries both locally and internationally whereas Mr. Adrian J Mizzi, Executive Director and Founder of Malta Fashion Week & Fashion Awards, launched the Malta Fashion Association and emphasized the importance of having both the latter and the Chamber of Fashion working hand in hand to achieve one goal and successfully support the fashion sector.
