The day I became an African Queen..

..with NYX Mega Shine Lip Gloss that is :)

Saturday morning I went to NYX outlet (which, as all of you know by now, is located in Tower Road, Sliema) and since I knew exactly what I wanted, I headed straight to the lips section.

I opted for the 'African Queen' lip product (LG 115) - a nice lip gloss in fuchsia with a purplish sheen. The product's blueberries candy smell had me apply two coats, and I was more than happy to discover that the product kept my lips soft and shiny (lately I had a couple of bad experiences with sticky lip glosses...yuck!) The gloss lasted some 3 hours on me, changing from its purple colour to a pinker tint.

As you can probably deduce from the carefree feeling transmitted in the pictures, I'm more than happy with this recent purchase of mine! What's next? I have to get my hands on a lipstick in a similar shade, to apply prior to my gloss. So watch out for an updated post in this space! ;)
