Remember the picture I posted about Uriage exfoliator? I know most of you probably do because I received a number of comments that day, asking for a review. So here goes; my thoughts about the Uriage Gommage Integral (exfoliator) and Uriage cleansing gel. As per usual, I look forward to your thoughts about this product so feel free to comment or send me a private message!
I'm always keen to try new products and brands when it comes to skin care, and for some reason till a couple of weeks ago I had never gotten to give Uriage a try. So the scrub and cleansing gel combo sounded like a good match to start with.
The Exfoliator
The formula of the exfoliator does not contain any harsh chemicals and is soap free. The product's formula contains a number of micro granules and a few larger white grains. The product can be used on both the face and the body, and is best applied on damp skin. This scrub feels gentle and doesn't scratch the skin. Then there's the product's scent, which reminds me of the sea. So I'm thinking you already know it makes me LOVE this scrub even more!
The Cleansing Gel
Recommended for sensitive skin, the product does what is meant to do to your skin - it leaves the skin soft and clean. Just like the exfoliator, the gel can be used on both face and body. The consistency of this gel, which is also soap free, is a little runny. What I do to manage to get a foamy texture is that I squeeze a little bit of product in the palm of my wet hands rather than first apply the product on the face and body then pour water on the product. The cleansing gel smells fresh and summery (I'm not good at describing scents of products, I can never come up with the appropriate words of what I'm actually smelling :/) Uriage cleansing gel rinses away easily, leaving the skin soft and smooth.
Uriage exfoliator and shower gel are available from local pharmacies, but if you have any general queries or questions about from where to obtain such products feel free to message me here.
